He knew it was worth it, paying the extra. Sure you can have perfectly serviceable ones. They handle all the stuff the company wants you to run. They do the job, but he knew your laptop is more than that. And that’s why he’d paid the extra for the aesthetics. He wanted that extra, designer, look, feel. For him. And if he was honest, it said something about him too. It announced the sort of work he did, the sort of man he was. He sipped his decaf and looked through his laptop at the woman on the next table.
