It was our anniversary. A significant one actually. It had always been our city. We went when we couldn’t really afford it. We walked the streets gazing up at the skyscrapers. It was still possible to be Woody Allen fans. We quoted lines about the Gestapo taking away your charge card. So I decided to treat us for our anniversary. We can afford it now, even afford to buy things in the shops we just wandered around the first time we were there. I organised it as a surprise. You should have seen his face when he opened the headset.
