Obviously we’re irreplaceable. Goes without saying that the business needs us. We brought the systems in. We’ve rolled them out across the company and we’re the ones who decided what to measure. The whole point has been to see where we can reconfigure, what we can do differently, who we can… “reengineer”. We know from the data that there is a lot of excess human capacity in the business. The AIs can take up that work. What is more, they’ve shown the way. There’s no point focusing on the shop floor, the real savings are our colleagues on the board.
