I was never into the mindfulness thing. When my friends were all downloading apps and listening to soothing voices telling them to count their breaths, I just took a deep breath and got on with it. Sure, my biometrics weren’t as green as theirs, as my appraisal noted but… But now I’ve no choice. I’m centering, counting, letting go and all that. I’m running my biometrics with the best of them. I have to. If I don’t get them under control I can’t listen to the playlist I want. On the bright side, I might get a bonus this year.
