We don’t talk anymore. Talking is so last… decade. I mean my Dad does it. Sad. He puts on this very special voice, really par…tic… u… lar, a little bit louder than normal, a bit BBC. At least he’s stopped using the trigger word. I sometimes wonder if he thinks of it as some sort of friend, human or something. No. We don’t talk. Me and… it. I don’t waste time wondering if “it” is a thing or whatever. And I don’t bother talking to it. I have enough friends. It just does stuff. I don’t even really know what.
