I love Bake Off. I can cook, but I can’t Cook, you know?. And I hate “food” shows. You know, the ones with famous chefs making everything look easy with a nonchalant smile or a careful edit. And don’t get me started on restaurant kitchen dramas or documentaries. No. What I like about Bake Off is… Well everyone is nice to each other. Someone’s up against it and another baker just offers a word of encouragement or comfort. Did you see it the other day when that AI contestant offered help. It just shows how well we can get on.
