The talent crisis has become the talent wars. Ours isn’t the only business fighting for the best and using every trick to find the talent we need. It is no longer just Junior roles, the grunt work. Senior roles too. We have to move fast to get what we need. Every day a competitor announces a hire that puts us on the back foot. So I’m busy. Searching for the best. I call it “no-head hunting”. I talk to machines all day. Sometimes I throw them a real human question: “what is the sound of one hand clapping?” I smile.
