Not everyone needs to have an opinion on AI

It had been a good idea. It saved time and effort, pacified the activist stakeholders, got the company publicity whenever a new issue came up and it did wonders for attracting young talent. Having “purpose” automated meant he didn’t have to bother with the complexities of the latest “cause”. The AI did the research, drafted the position and made the statement on… well everything. But now the company was Taking A Stand on things way outside its sector, beyond its capacity to do anything. And people were asking difficult questions. Maybe he could get the AI to do the interviews.
