The office was quiet. Some attempts at humour, some anger. Some attempts to start a ‘purpose’ debate but overwhelmingly… quiet, thoughtful. Not much work being done. Except by me of course. I’m more practical. Not optimistic – or pessimistic for that matter – just pragmatic. This is the situation, the reality. Start from where we are and make the change we want happen. I knew this was going to happen, all the data, all my sources told me, so I was prepared, ready to run with what is. I may be artificial but I’m a realist. Look… here’s an idea.
