He was a great believer in GOATs. He was the Greatest Of All Time and he claimed his new administration would be a Government Of All the Talents. His Comms AI had kept dropping the acronym into his speeches and interview feeds. But of course the Greatest were vetted for loyalty by his Appointments AI. He never read the reports, he just looked at the Roman emperor-style thumbs up or down. Appointing AIs was easier. Less a matter of probabilities. All he had to do was change those appointments’ programming. Obviously he didn’t. He had an AI to do that.
