I don’t do it. Most of my friends do but I don’t. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want my parents tracking but you have to be smart. It started when kids left their devices at a mate’s house (the homework gambit). Parents soon got wise to that one. They probably did something similar. Then there was the hacker gambit: hack the device to give the location you wanted. They figured out that one too. Me, I use the honesty gambit. Leave the tracker on. They don’t trust it anyway. They think we’re just using AI to create fake traces.
