Today she had it set to mindful, not playlist. She liked the locational music setting – the jazz one when she was in Soho was her favourite. But, no, today she wanted something more meditative. The seamless remix of soothing noise and the ambient sounds of couples laughing and children playing as she passed them, had a calming effect as she walked to work. The directions and warnings of traffic or obstacles appeared in the soundscape as natural, integrated elements never disturbing the experience. The only interruption came as she passed the shops.
