He was used to the best. He spent most of his day with “cutting edge” systems – at least that’s what the company always said. They’d been optimised for the work, for his job and his way of working. Most of the time his partner just worked. No glitches. It was all, well… Rather full. Maybe that’s why he collected them. His small flat was full of them. Some he just stored and brought out occasionally but some he’d arranged in his flat. An archaeological exhibit. He loved walking in and finding the lights didn’t come on. He smiled every time.
