It was the main award of the evening. There was no clear favourite so debate had been animated, betting brisk. Countless Agents had been harnessed to try and predict the outcome. He sat at the table his Agency had paid for. His boss was optimistic so had found the money. It wasn’t there of course but doubtless monitoring the feeds. Those colleagues who could attend were already a little drunk. He was too nervous. If he won it would make his career, he’d be in demand. His Agent had already won tonight.
