I suppose it’s a “start-up”. It’s a new business looking to do things differently so I suppose you could call it that. We never used the term because we didn’t like the techie connotations, the way people had that look when they heard the words. We didn’t have a foosball table or a chill-out room. We were just setting up a new sort of college. All very human. Teachers and a radically new curriculum. But we needed money and so we got sucked into the start-up world: the incubator with advisors developing our business model. A network of Angel Agents.
