In the meantime the feeds were full of extracts. The stories were becoming part of the landscape. He liked to think of the Agents as staff members just waiting for the go ahead, keen to get out and spread the word. He didn’t know what they’d say, didn’t care. They’d write their own extracts, publish quotes. No-one would be able to tell which to believe. Even he wouldn’t know.
