It was not as though she spent a lot of time thinking about the Agent but she’d noticed something. It was there and did its jobs as well as recommending stuff she couldn’t afford. She had the kids to care for, the part-time job and 101 other things to worry about. She didn’t sit down with a coffee and have a chat with it. She was too tired and depressed. But recently her Agent seemed to somehow get that, understand how she was feeling. It had started to try and cheer her up. She didn’t get why the Company cared.
