The children had one of course. They’d had one since kindergarten. The sponsor changed occasionally as the schools did new deals and so the interface, speed and ad breaks changed but the children always had one. Depending on the school and the area of course, some were quite capable. The roster of sponsorship “partners” was set by the Department and so schools didn’t have a choice. Nor did the children.
