The two pitches ran simultaneously. In the boardroom the team was meeting the client. The older attendees felt at home. The deck might have 3D graphics, the data might be updating in real time but there was something comforting about humans standing and talking. Of course there were Agents present, giving the team the latest readings on how the pitch was landing, but this was a human space. Elsewhere the other pitch was running. Faster of course. The two Agents were connecting, negotiating: timelines, costs, direction, creative. As the deals were done, the results were fed back into the boardroom.
