Fourth period Thursday. The pupils hated it, the teacher probably would have hated it if It had been programmed with emotions. The school had not been able to attract the top tier sponsors so it couldn’t. Some styled, some played up. Most just did what they were told and forgot it instantly. Parents, paranoid about employability, quizzed them, cajoled them, bribed them to take it seriously. They believed that children who “got” AI would find work. The lessons ground on until the pupils could go home, back to their bedrooms, to their Agents and really start to learn and play.
