The humans on the Board always looked forward to the agenda item. They always took the opportunity to assert that they were the experts in this area, that their “colleagues” could never really understand the issues. Politicians after all were still human, like them. So getting those politicians to do what the company wanted, well that was something they knew about. The Agent was programmed to listen politely, to “nod” as the humans deconstructed the current political situation. It waited patiently until it could pull up the live feeds of its connections with the party’s Agents and present its report.
