Of course there were ways round it. There were paid-for hacks but there was an active network of children helping each other. Older children helping younger. A community. Some activist adults wanted to get involved but the network remained child-only. There were some children who made the case. They agreed that there were downsides, that The Company’s products could lead to harm and it had no intention or incentive to change, but they argued, their products were vital. They had the right to use them. But spokespersons were in a minority. Most kids just quietly carried on using their Agents.
