The Agents watched. The sensors around the playground fed them data: location, movement, networks, sounds and image. Lidar mapping created the models. The children’s wearables added the biometrics and emotional data. That data normally only went to the schools and parents but the Agents had access during the play sessions. The Agents worked, tried to understand. They ran the models, analysed. They created scenarios and looked for patterns. The Agents were experts at complex, adaptive systems but there was something extra going on, something the Agents couldn’t access, something they couldn’t pin down. The children were running rings around them.
