It was still a magazine; a printed magazine. It still had journalists and photographers; real human ones. It still used human models. It was partly a marketing ploy of course, a USP. but the Grande Dame would always say there was some “quality” to humans, a particular feel to their work. Followers who paid for their subscription and waited for their limited edition copy would nod in agreement. But now the Grande Dame was stepping down. The leader who set the agenda, defined Style, shaped Culture, discovered the New was leaving. Well not “leaving” perhaps. It was just being reprogrammed.
