She wasn’t an anti-social. She wasn’t a refuser. She wasn’t an analoger. She thought of herself as normal. She had her screen, her Agents. She whiled away time scrolling through feeds. She just had the dial turned down. That’s all. She had plenty of friends, got invited to parties, lived a normal life, it was just that she’d turned off the generated. That’s the only thing. It wasn’t ideological, she just liked real cats, human children doing cute things, people. She knew some of the memes that her friends talked about and the ones she didn’t, she just smiled along.
